Not dead, or bored... Just on vacation (and we just got HBO).

Greetings, internets...

The Chris Ives Experience hopes you had an awesome Christmas and New Years...  Mine was awesome!

So yeah...  I'm not dead/bored/incarcerated (in a prison that doesn't give you internet access), or anything like that.  Just on vacation...  I was off from 12/24 through 1/2, making this my first day back.

We didn't do much...  We stayed local...

But we did get HBO.  It's awesome!

I'm hooked on Flight of the Conchords...  It's an awesome show...  And I finally saw a bunch of movies-

The Darjeeling Limited -  Gade: D+ (I expected more from Wes Anderson)

Disturbia -  Gade: D- (that's being generous)

I watched a lot of other movies I've seen before, but those were the two that stuck out...

We also went to the movies and saw:

Benjamin Button -  (It was a chick flick love story and I'm not good at grading them)

Valkyrie -  Gade: B+(Tom Cruise is crazy batshit with that Scientology stuff but this movie was good)

So now we're back to work.  It's a new year...  There's stuff we should be giving up, I'll save that for another day...

Wes who??? I fell asleep watching Darjeeling, wondering if I'd already seen the best from Wes Anderson. Maybe he and M. Night should host a 1-hit wonder movie party.
